Church School
Classes for all youngsters from age three through the seventh grade
run simultaneously with the 10:15 a.m. service. Children should be
in their classrooms by 10:00 a.m. Children then enter the church
before communion; listen to a lesson from Oscar and Nanook, the
preaching puppets. Afterwards, they join their parents for the
remainder of the service. On the first Sunday of each month,
children should attend and take an active part in the entire
service.
Confirmation Classes
Classes are held one Sunday a month for youngsters in the ninth
grade or up who desire to be Confirmed. Using the curriculum,
Encountering Christ in the Episcopal Church, we explore what it
means to be a Christian today. Classes begin each September.

Nursery
The nursery provides a safe, happy environment for babies and toddlers to age three during the
10:15 a.m. service. Parents may bring the children in for communion
if they wish. There is also an area for quiet play at the rear of
the sanctuary. Contact: Valerie Manecke (347-2591).
Youth Group
Our youth have begun a Christian education program called Journey to
Adulthood (JTA) and they are preparing for Confirmation. Some
service project and fellowship activities will round out these
experiences for our young people. A youth coordinator is also
offering activities for the younger children. Contact: Beverly
Byrd (347-2879).
